[Drama] New Ji Chang Wook promo stills from “Whirlwind Girl 2”

The “Whirlwind Girl 2” production has been dribbling out over the past few weeks their official stills featuring Ji Chang Wook as his “Chang-an” character.  Take a look here!

We finally get a glimpse into Chang An’s training methods, which look rather brutal.  News reports state that netizens have pegged Ji Chang Wook with the nicknames “Iceberg Face” and “Devil Coach” after these stills were posted.

Apparently Guo Jun Chen’s character either takes offense to Chang An’s training methods… or seeing the floral bouquet on the ground, they’re probably fighting over Bai Chao (An Yue Xi).  However this scene plays into the script, it looks beautifully filmed.

But enemies can eventually become friends, as evidenced by Guo Jun Chen’s Weibo post a few days thereafter.  What cute boys!

Mango TV states that “Whirlwind Girl 2” is tentatively scheduled for a 28 July 2016 premiere on Hunan TV.  Can’t wait!  😀

  1. Goodness Chang Wookie is so darn pretty. Does he speak Chinese here or will he be dubbed?

  2. Totally agreed. Chang Wook has secured the solid support of mature ladies through Empress Ki , a group of young ladies on Healer. Now, he will win over the support of teenagers, for sure. Long to see Whirlwind girl 2. I misss his acting so much.

  3. Ha ha. “Iceberg face” sounds funny. Thankfully, Whirlwind girl 2 has secured a broadcast station. I hear of chinese dramas that don’t air – so at least we get to see something he’s worked on in China. I have more desire to see his movie. I hear Fabricated City might come out in October, but that’s still tentative.

  4. Very excited…can’t wait! How will the international fans be able to view this drama? JCW loves challenging roles so he must have this iceberg demeanor perfected. I hope he is successful with broadening his youth audience…for me, just to see him on the screen will put a smile on my face.

  5. Thanks for all these great pics from JCW’s drama Cherkell. Can’t wait for this to be released. It seems like JCW’s movie and dramas will all be released in the summer of 2016!

“Iceberg Face”? “Devil Coach”?? What a shame when we all know what a great grin JCW has! I do hope we get to see JCW’s huge smile at some point in this drama. JCW looks so absolutely endearing when he’s smiling!
