Ji Chang Wook appeared on Section TV with his fellow “The Days” co-stars Yoo Joon Sang and Shin Go Eun to promote their ongoing musical.
Sharp-eyed fans may recognise that Shin Go Eun was the emcee who interviewed Ji Chang Wook and Yoo Joon Sang on Section TV two years ago. Call it fate or coincidence, she now joins them in the same musical as the female lead. The three of them engage in friendly banter over who contributed to the high ticket sales, who would make a better bodyguard, and their tolerance for alcohol.

Do they sing live during the show or do they use the recordings? If they sing live than why do they record the songs?
It’s been like this in all the musicals in which I’ve performed: The show is indeed live with no recordings, but it is standard procedure for individual cast members to practice their solos in a studio with only a backing track in order to rehearse away from a full performance run-through. That way you can work on your strengths and weaknesses in tandem with the producer and musical director without the hassle of having to assemble the entire ensemble just to practice your parts alone. 😀
