Whispers of this event have been floating around the internet for awhile now, but we guess it’s finally safe to report: Ji Chang Wook has been named as the latest celebrity endorser for Lotte Duty Free! You may have seen their stores in various East Asian airport terminals (along with several other brick-and-mortar outposts), but is most famously known for their huge flagship department stores located in Myeongdong-gu, Busan and Tokyo Ginza.
The Lotte Duty Free websites had been teasing their soon-to-be-named celebrity endorser for a couple months now on their various Korean, Chinese and Japanese portals, with the announcement just made final on 17 October. Wook is joining a group of other Korean celebrities already in the Lotte Duty Free promotion stable, such as Lee Min Ho, Kim Soo Hyun, Cha Seung Won, Choi Ji Woo, and many others too numerous to mention. And as what typically occurs with such a prestigious endorsement, Wook is scheduled to appear at the bi-annual Lotte Duty Free Family Festival 2016, to be held on 21 October at 6:00pm at the Olympic Main Stadium in Songpa-gu, Seoul. We are unsure as to the exact details, but in events prior, there usually is some sort of hosted celebrity interview on stage with attendee tickets distributed via a store minimum-purchase lottery.
In addition to the fan meeting noted above, several groups such as EXO, NCT, Mamamoo, Lee Juck, Kim Bumsoo and many more will be performing at concert stages on 22 and 23 October (also at the Olympic Main Stadium) as part of this Lotte Duty Free Family Festival… um, festivities.

I am sooo happy for his much deserved recognition of pristigeous LOTTE endorsement. Yes, now we need to share our beloved STAR JCW with the world because he is so bright and amazing that we cannot hide him! Hahaha……..
The crowd will be craaaaaazy on that day! So happy for JCW. He’s worked so hard these past few years. So glad he’s receiving all these recognition now. Just remember to stay healthy JCW!
FINALLY, JCW is getting his deserved share of recognition. He has so much on his platter with a drama, musical nomination, fan meets…I do not know how he does it. I’m happy for him but that means we have to share him with a larger part of the world. So much recognition with MS lurking nearby. The festival indeed will draw the fans with those two headliners…hope they have crowd control. JCW…the best of luck with your success!!
It’ll be very interesting to see both JCW and Lee Min Ho in the same event. Their birthdays are just one week apart , and they have quite similar in physical appearance too. All the fan girls must scream like crazy on that day!
