Ji Chang Wook will be heading to China for the Xinjiang 315 International Motor Show on 17 March 2017.
The event, which is now in its fifth year, is a car trade show for car dealers across the country to engage potential car buyers and hobbyists. The trade show claims to offer a large range of cars with plenty of discounts and attracts more than one hundred thousand visitors each year.
In recent years, it appears to have become a tradition for the organizer to invite a Korean star to the event. Actor Lee Dong Wook was the special guest in 2015, followed by RAIN in 2016, and now Ji Chang Wook in 2017.
The car show will take place from 14th to 20th March at the Xinjiang International Convention and Exhibition Center in the city of Ürümqi, Xinjiang province, an autonomous territory in northwest China near Mongolia. Ji Chang Wook will make his appearance at the event on 17th March.
Ji Chang Wook appears in a short video for the event:
UPDATE 20 March: We have learned today that Ji Chang Wook did not attend the Xinjiang 315 International Motor Show. Due to unknown circumstances, a Chinese star named Kenny Lin (Lin Geng Xin) was substituted in as the special guest at the last minute. As far as we can tell, no official notice of cancellation was provided by either Glorious Entertainment or Motor Show personnel.
