[BREAKING] Will Han Ji Min join Ji Chang Wook for SBS’s “Please Be Careful of This Woman”?

29 March update: Actress Nam Ji Hyun (Shopping King Louis) has been confirmed to play the female lead.

22 March update: Ji Chang Wook’s real-life best friend, actor Choi Tae Joon (Missing Nine), is reportedly considering the role of Ji Eun Hyuk, a lawyer with a complicated family background and tough childhood. He meets our protagonist Noh Ji Wook at the age of 12 and becomes his only friend, brother and family. Viewers can look forward to bromance between the two characters if Choi Tae Joon accepts the role. Meanwhile, actress Han Ji Min has declined the offer to star in this drama, so the production team is looking for another female lead.

According to press reports today, Ji Chang Wook may have a different leading lady for the new SBS Wednesday-Thursday drama “Please Be Careful of This Woman.”  Actress Han Ji Min (“Rooftop Prince,” “Age of Shadows”) has also been offered the lead female role to star alongside Ji Chang Wook.

As we previously reported, actress Lee Sung Kyung was also in talks for the lead role of Eun Bong Hee.  Speaking in response to today’s news, Han Ji Min’s agency BH Entertainment stated, “This is just one of several scripts offered to Han Ji Min.  Han Ji Min is in the middle of filming the movie “미쓰백” (“Miss Baek”) and nothing has been decided.”

Ji Chang Wook had previously expressed his intention to do one last drama before enlisting in the army in 2017, but there has been no official statement yet from Glorious Entertainment one way or the other as to Ji Chang Wook’s confirmed appearance in this new SBS weekday drama.  Update: Glorious Entertainment has confirmed that Ji Chang Wook has accepted the role! Lee Sung Kyung is no longer being considered for the female lead.

If Ji Chang Wook and Han Ji Min do confirm their appearances, it will mark a long-time return of both to SBS, as Ji Chang Wook was last seen in the drama “Five Fingers” (2012), and Han Ji Min was last seen in the dramas “Rooftop Prince” (2012) and “Hyde, Jekyll, Me” (2015).

“Please Be Careful of This Woman” (“이 여자를 조심하 세요”) will be a romantic comedy and crime thriller about a lawyer, Noh Ji Wook (Ji Chang Wook) and a junior prosecutor, Eun Bong Hee, who get embroiled in a case revolving a murderer with amnesia.  The drama will air in May following “Saimdang: Light’s Diary”.

Thanks for sharing update news☺😍😍..glad to know that JCWs best friend acting with him new drama..although didnt watch his shows before looking forward their reel life relation in this drama👍👍..but I am wondering why both actress declined female lead role!!:o:o:o..they are missing golden chance to work with Wookie😭😂😂🤑🤑…now i badly want the young actress who will match well with Wookie in every way😍😍(me too wanted to see him with park shin hye and park bo young and some other actress)..Hoping for the best!!   2. It’s interesting that Choi Tae Joon is offered a supporting role. They are looking for another female lead? OK, so I can still have hope for Park Shin Hye in this drama. I’m not sure why both 2 actresses declined the role. I thought they would be excited to act with JCW. 😉

    • Han Ji Min is in the middle of filming her movie ‘Miss Baek’ and there’s another movie offering with LBH. Probably she declined of those projects that has been laid first.

    Han Ji Min is ok, but is she quite old to be a junior prosecutor? I thought an actress in mid or late 20s would be a better fit.
    I’ve been always hoping for Park Shin Hye. I hope my dream will come true.

Hope this drama shows his other side of acting besides action roles!! He has lot more potential than other K actors in his generation!! His Natural acting will bring any character to life!! Hope and wish director helps him to show the Hidden Talent in JCW!! Hope and pray this drama will be successful and remains as a sweet gift for us till he come back from MS!! Thought lee sung kyung would be FL but did nt watch han ji man shows never before..but i hope for the actress who will complement well with JCW in acting level!!
