On 24 October, lead members Ji Chang Wook, Kang Ha Neul and Kim Sungkyu from the cast of musical “Shinheung Military School” visited Korea’s National Assembly, continuing with promotions of the musical during the Korean Military’s 70th anniversary year.
Ji Chang Wook, Kang Ha Neul and Kim Sungkyu were guests of various defense officials in the afternoon, and also met with some lawmakers from the National Assembly’s National Defense Committee, including National Assembly Speaker Moon Hee Sang (seen above) and members of the Culture, Sports and Tourism Committee.
Here, the boys are meeting with Representative Kim Byung Ki.
Some members of the National Assembly were also fortunate to have lunch with the visiting soldiers.
Here they are with Representative Ha Tae Kyung of the Bareun Mirae Party.
And practicing their aegyo with Justice Party lawmaker Choo Hye Sun.
“The Ministry of National Defense sent a message that it wanted the stars to visit the National Assembly for the purpose of promoting musicals,” a source at the Defense Committee said.
Many lawmakers insisted on posing with the three leads, but Assembly Member Shim Sang Jung was so impressed with the soldiers’ visit that Kang Ha Neul was the recipient of a hug!
Only a mere 185 days until we see Our Soldier Boy back in the public domain. Salute!
