The news has finally been confirmed by Glorious Entertainment, so now we can report on it! Ji Chang Wook is scheduled to return to Vietnam to participate in the “KPop Concert – Daebak Vietnam 2019” on 24 August. This event was cancelled by the Organizing Committee on 22 August due to local weather and other contributing factors that made it difficult to proceed with the full event.
The event is just one of a number of activities being held to celebrate 27 years since the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and the Republic of Korea. The “Daebak Concert” will be held at 7:00pm (local time) at the Mỹ Đình National Stadium in Hanoi.
Joining Ji Chang Wook at this concert will be Korean girl group Momoland and boy group Golden Child; Korean duo Bolbbalgan4; Korean soloist Park Hye Won; and Vietnamese pop stars Noo Phước Thịnh and Tóc Tiên. In addition, former South Korean football player and current manager of the Vietnam national football team Park Hang Seo will act as emcee for the event.
It is rumoured that Ji Chang Wook may have a collaboration stage with Vietnamese singers, and may even perform a song in the native language. According to Glorious Entertainment, “Ji Chang Wook is working hard to learn simple Vietnamese sentences in order to communicate with fans in this August show.”
Hello, I am Actor Ji Chang Wook. I will be attending the Vietnam-Korea Friendship Music Festival “Daebak Concert in Vietnam” at the Mỹ Đình National Stadium. I hope that everyone can join me in this happy time. Let’s make an appointment to meet at Mỹ Đình National Stadium on 24 August. Bye!
In addition, according to the promoters of the “Daebak Concert,” a portion of the concert’s ticket revenue will be reserved for charity purposes — a fund is currently being set up in Ji Chang Wook’s name (“Ji Chang Wook Friendship Journey”) to help the residents of the remote and disadvantaged areas of Vietnam.
Mỹ Đình National Stadium has 4 stands. The A & B stands (or east and west stands, respectively) are covered each by an arched roof weighing 2,300 tonnes. These two stands have two tiers and are 25.8 m (85 ft) tall while the C & D stands (or south and north stands) are single-tiered and 8.4 m (28 ft) tall.
In total, the stadium has a capacity of 40,192 seats, including 450 VIP seats and 160 seats for journalists. Tickets are on sale and can be purchased through the venue’s box office or through several online portals. Prices are as follows (all in Viet Nam Dong currency):
350,000 VND (rear floor)
500,000 VND (middle rear floor)
1,000,000 VND (middle floor)
1,500,000 VND (front floor)
2,000,000 VND (VIP tickets near the stage – stand)
2,500,000 VND (VIP tickets near the stage – stand)
3,000,000 VND (VIP tickets near the stage – sit)

Wow! I don’t know how JCW is able to keep up with his schedule. He’s filming a drama, concerts, learning a new language, CFs…incredible! Just want him to stay healthy and happy. His fandom is growing.
