[Event/CF] Ji Chang Wook serenades the crowd for Lotte Duty Free Family Concert 2019 (updated)

On 9 August, Lotte Duty Free premiered the first of their three-night Family Concert 2019 series, featuring endorser and valued performer Ji Chang Wook at the Seoul Olympic Park Gymnastics Stadium KSPO Dome in Songpa-gu, Seoul.

2019 was the 29th year in which Lotte Duty Free has presented these shows, normally broken out into sub-genres for its featured performers.  This year was no different, with the first night entitled “K-Live Concert,” the second night entitled “K-Beat Concert,” and the final evening entitled “K-Pop Concert.”

Ji Chang Wook blessed the audience with three songs from his repertoire:  “101 Reasons Why I Like You” from the “Suspicious Partner” OST; “Kissing You,” the theme song to the Lotte Duty Free 2016 web drama “7 First Kisses” (while his segment played on the big screen behind Wook); and finished up with “I Will Protect You” from the “Healer” OST.

Even with a video introduction and a bit of stage patter thanking the audience for supporting him (and Lotte Duty Free, not forgetting why he was there in the first place), Wook’s appearance was short and sweet, lasting a whopping 14 minutes from start to finish.  (Which was probably in his favour, because he had to quickly return to the “Melting Me Softly” filming set right after.)

Other performers on the 9 August programme were balladeers Kim Gun Mo, Kim Yeon Woo, Lim Chang Jun and indie duo bolbbalgan4.
