On 2 October, Ji Chang Wook made an appearance at the Lotte Duty Free store in Myeongdong-gu, Seoul to join Chinese beauty brand Yamii for the grand opening of its first store in Korea.
Ji Chang Wook has been chosen as Yamii’s first Korean endorser. There is not a lot of information available about Yamii, except that it is a Chinese health and beauty brand incorporated in November 2012 that focuses on ingestibles, mostly consisting of collagen drink products. Wook’s endorsement deal was announced at Yamii’s brand launch on 16 September 2019:
The event was held inside the Star Avenue corridor at the Lotte Duty Free flagship store. For those who have been there, you probably have walked up Star Avenue to the LDF entrance to see the photos and videos (and handprints) of various LDF endorsers. In honor of its invited guests, LDF turned the entire Star Avenue into a trippy psychedelic video replay of Ji Chang Wook’s promotional video.
Of course, many fans lined the walkway and photowall area where Ji Chang Wook would assist with cutting the ribbon in opening the Yamii store:
And then it was time to cut the ceremonial ribbon!
Of course, the CEO of Yamii would not let Wook get away without sampling some of the products he is now endorsing:
Congratulations to Ji Chang Wook for adding another endorsement to his ever-growing stable!
