[Breaking] Ji Chang Wook considering role in new drama “Convenience Store Saet Byeol”

Ji Chang Wook and Kim Yoo Jung are being considered for the new Lifetime drama “Convenience Store Saet Byeol” (literal title).

On 14 January 2020, Korean news portal Sports Today said Ji Chang Wook will appear in the new lifetime drama “Convenience Store Saet Byeol” (“편의점 샛별이”).  Ji’s agency, Glorious Entertainment, said that the drama was “one of the proposed works received” and he is “discussing whether to appear.”  Kim Yoo Jung’s agency, Sidus HQ, also stated that the actress is “receiving proposals and reviewing” the same work.

“Convenience Store Saet Byul” is based on a rom-com webtoon of the same name and tells the story of a free-spirited part-time worker named Jeong Saet-byeol, and her handsome (but clumsy) manager named Choi Dae-hyun, at a 24-hour convenience store.  “Conveinience Store Saet Byeol” will be directed by PD Lee Myung Woo (“The Fiery Priest,” “Punch”).

*This is a developing story.  This post will be updated as more information is known.
