Actor Ji Chang Wook was selected as the “Miracle of July” by ‘Favorite Idol Celebrity’ (more commonly known as ‘Choeaedol’), a celebrity popularity ranking application. This is the result of recording the most votes among celebrities born in July.
Ji Chang Wook received enthusiastic support and love from fans all over the world, including his fan club Dayrock, on his 5 July birthday. Ji Chang Wook, who received 171,101,544 votes on that one day alone, was able to become the Miracle Hero of the Month in the ‘Choeaedol’ app.
The day after, Ji Chang Wook was selected as its second donor angel in the ‘Choeaedol’ celebrity actor category, and 500,000 won (approximately $434.00 USD) was donated in his name to the Miral Foundation.
Every month, ‘Choeaedol’ selects one of the stars who topped the rankings on their birthday as “Miracle of the Month” and conducts subway ads in their honour. Ji Chang Wook’s advertisement, which was selected as “Miracle of July,” will be available at Konkuk University Station from 15 August through 29 August.
A video birthday greeting featuring Ji Chang Wook was previously aired from 2 July through 8 July at the Konkuk University Station from gathering the most ‘Choeaedol’ votes in an event held in late May 2021.
