Ji Chang Wook seeks an “intense transformation” into a strong criminal action drama.

On 18 March 2022, according to a report by Korean online portal SpoTV News, Ji Chang Wook is reported to appear in “The Worst Evil” (literal title), joining hands with Director Han Dong Wook (“Asura: The City of Madness,” “Man In Love”).

“The Worst Evil” will be a work co-produced by BARAM Pictures (a subsidiary of Kakao M Entertainment) and movie studio Sanai Pictures, and will be produced as an intense criminal action genre drama.

Sanai Pictures has previously created edgy crime action genre works such as the movies “The New World,” “Man In Love,” and “Asura.”  BARAM Pictures was recognized for its capabilities by co-production of the movie “Night of Memory,” and the dramas “Jirisan Mountain” and “Kingdom: The Story of Asin.”

Ji Chang Wook will continue his nonstop acting career with “The Worst Evil.”  In particular, “The Worst Evil” is expected to show a charismatic transformation that shows a intense character.

In addition, Ji Chang Wook is currently filming a new drama “Tell Me Your Wish” with Sung Dong Il and Choi Soo Young, and Ji Chang Wook’s “working as hard as a cow” is drawing attention as Netflix’s original “Annarasumanara,” based on the popular webtoon of the same name, is set to be released in the first half of this year.  [Note: Netflix has tentatively scheduled “Annarasumanara” for release in May 2022.]
