While Ji Chang Wook is busy protecting his country, we at The Kitchen will be taking a walk down memory lane to translate some of his older interviews that we didn’t manage to cover. Many were published before this site was launched, while there are other recent ones that we may have left out due to a lack of time. In conjunction with his debut anniversary, we thought it would be proper to publish one of Ji Chang Wook’s very first interviews he had with the press when he was just a rookie actor. [Exclusive] Happy 9th debut anniversary to Ji Chang Wook (and lucky draw!)

How time flies!  Another 23 October has come around again for Ji Chang Wook’s debut anniversary!  2017 marks the 9th year since his official debut in the 2008 movie “Sleeping Beauty,” and even though our Soldier Ji is pretty much out of the limelight for another 566 days, 12 hours, 29 minutes and 10 seconds (not like we’re counting or anything…), we here at The Kitchen would be derelict in not acknowledging such a momentous occasion.  So congratulations to Ji Chang Wook for his vast contributions to the entertainment world, and we cannot wait to see you back on our screens after faithfully serving your country.  Salute!

[Magazine] Woman Sense, September 2017 issue – Ji Chang Wook’s last interview before enlistment

His appearances are not ordinary, but his personality is very ordinary. And that’s why he shines even more. Ji Chang Wook enlisted at the Gangwon Province Cheorwon training institute on 14 August. There are many problems concerning celebrities’ army enlistment these days, yet he enlisted coolly for active duty. We met up with him at a restaurant in Yeouido before he enlisted.
