[Breaking News] Ji Chang Wook to have drama comeback in November?

Rejoice! Ji Chang Wook is slated to return to dramaland in November on MBC in the drama “Mister Baek”!

Just last month, there were news about Ji Chang Wook considering the lead role in the fantasy drama “Mr Baek”, sending a flurry of excitement among fans.

The drama, about a 70-year-old hotelier who finds himself transformed into a 30-year-old young man and experiences a romance he never had, was originally slated for a September broadcast on SBS after “It’s Okay, It’s Love” ends its run. But all hopes for a September release then fizzled out as it was subsequently replaced by another drama in SBS’ Wednesday-Thursday lineup for that timeslot.

In a twist of events, it appears that the show will end up airing on MBC instead.

A spokesman said, “Broadcast of the drama has been postponed to November and is expected to air in the Wednesday-Thursday timeslot. No major changes have been made to the story, and the main lead is still Ji Chang Wook as previously announced.”

The drama will be directed by Lee Sang Yeob PD whose previous works include “Lights and Shadows” and “King’s Daughter Soo Baek Hyang”. The drama is expected to air after “Fated To Love You” and the subsequent “The Spring Day of My Life”.

If we do some simple calculations, supposing the two preceding dramas were to run for 20 episodes each, we can expect “Mister Baek” to premiere on 19 November. We can barely wait!!
