Taking a break from snooping on dating celebrities, Dispatch’s paparazzi caught up with Ji Chang Wook and YoonA on the set of their ongoing drama “The K2”. The reporter shared some candid shots of them rehearsing their scenes, and even managed to snag a brief interview with Ji Chang Wook.
Ji Chang Wook prepares to set off for Dream Forest, where the filming was due to take place on this day.
Despite having stayed up the whole night and surviving on only one hour of sleep, Ji Chang Wook still looks handsome as ever.
Ji Chang Wook said, “There are many times where we have to stay up all night to do filming. Tired? I feel happy instead because I get to act even at that late hour. It’s more fun because it’s been a long time since I’ve acted in Korea. I miss it a lot.”

Perhaps playing games is the remedy for lack of sleep…

Self check

“I’m now…”

“…Kim Jae Ha.”

“Bodyguard is going out”

“Curious?”

“Follow me~’
They were filming scenes for episode 6 on this day. This was the scene where Im YoonA was waiting for her dad. At this moment, Kim Jae Ha shows up with an ice-cream.

“I’m ready.”

“It’s time to meet her.”

“Your father sent this.”

“Then I ought to eat it.”
Kim Jae Ha had lied to her, pretending that he was giving her the ice-cream on behalf of her dad. Despite having a serious allergy towards strawberries, Anna eats the ice-cream thinking it was from her dad.

“Anna, wake up!”

“Call an ambulance, quick!”

“Anna! Anna!”

Lots of staff are watching

But they are still focused on acting.
Once rehearsal is over, they burst into laughter. In reality, Ji Chang Wook and YoonA share a chemistry that is almost like brother and sister.
Ji Chang Wook said, “My collaboration with YoonA matches very well. We often discuss about each other’s characters. We look as pretty as the amount of effort we put in. That’s why we are able to show good chemistry in front of the camera.”

“Should I open my eyes? (YoonA)”

“No, pass out. (Ji Chang Wook)”

Hand that blocks the sunlight

“I’ll protect you from ultraviolet rays.”

“How’s our chemistry?”
They share the ice-cream by playing scissors paper stone.

“Eat slowly (YoonA)”

“I’m, strawberry killer. (Ji Chang Wook)”

“I’ll give you if you win. (YoonA)”
[Interview]
Q. I’m curious about the process you went through before becoming Kim Jae Ha.
“There was a greater proportion of action scenes in the beginning, so it was difficult physically. I wanted the action scenes to be perfect. I had a greed to show detailed action.”
Q. What was the most difficult action scene?
“The action scene in the sauna! It was the hardest to understand and the most difficult. When I saw the script, I was curious as to how this action could be acted out. Watching the broadcast, it came out different and interestingly, which was fortunate.”
Q. Isn’t it difficult physically? Your filming schedule is also packed most of the time.
“I don’t do any special physical training. I think the best method is to eat well and sleep well.”
Q. I’m now in love with Jae Ha on evening television now. What do you think is Kim Jae Ha’s charm?
“He is a character that is very human. He looks rough, but he is very compassionate. Although he lived with his back turned against the world, he is a friend with a warm heart.”
Q. The drama is earnest. How is the atmosphere like on set?
“It is totally different from the drama. Director Kwak Jung Han and the staff often crack jokes. Most surprising are seniors Song Yoon Ah and Jo Sung Ha. Their sense of humour is like no other.”
Q. Lastly, what do you think is the must-watch factor of ‘The K2’?
“The relationship between Anna, Yoojin and Jae Ha will develop very interestingly. That’s why you have to watch this. I will present to you an even more handsome image.”

That’s nice to know that they have a “brother-sister” chemistry off cam… ;p
He is a good actor because he is not impacted by his works, he is still himself after dramas, so then he can stay away from scandals 🙂
Thank you for sharing with us about our handsome, cute, sexy JCW! His news is always makes me happy! What a hardworking man he is ~<3
Is there anyone who notice the gray hair on his head ! 😅😅😅😅
As much as I love to see JCW in dramas, I love the BTS more because they show his sweet nature, his love of his work, his respect and affection for co-workers, etc.
I do not know how he “survives” on an hour of sleep and still looks sooo good. It must take much concentration to act the scenes in view of so many people…especially the CPR scene. It was interesting that author commented that the “chemistry is like a brother and sister”. Thank you for sharing the BTS scenes.
…my a friends heart for Ji Chang Wook so much more warm, when I saw insight into his work…is a good job…is’t very, very nice…thank you for all….
that was delightful! thank you so much for posting this! love those pictures-it is fun to see bts things that show you what they go thru to do the scenes and the bantering between the actors. i can’t help it-he is so handsome (i almost said beautiful again).
Thank you JCWKitchen for all your work! So happy to get some more insight into JCW and his work.
JCW’s truly a person to be reckoned with. Always so warm and open and sincere. I’m so happy that JCW decided to take on K2. He has done brilliant work in this drama. Can’t wait to see how the drama unfolds!
