On the day that “The K2” was due to air its first episode, Ji Chang Wook and YoonA had participated in a live chat with fans to promote their drama “The K2”. The chat was streamed live on Daum Tv Pot and Kakao Story, where Korean fans got to submit questions to them and leave hilarious comments that kept the two of them laughing non-stop during the 50-minute session.

It was midnight. The mood of a calm night filled the studio as the world slept. This was the only time that the two leads of tvN drama, Ji Chang Wook and YoonA, could gather at one place. In between the busy preparations for filming, the two needles of the clock that met at 12 started moving further apart once again. YoonA, who appeared with flowing brown hair and dressed in a simple white shirt, had a face like it was 11am in the morning.

He is cool and mysterious in the drama, but outside the screen, he is always described by his colleagues as “playful and active”, “greedy and childish”, and won a legion of fans based on these qualities, including the endearing nickname of “Ji three-year-old (池三岁/chi san sui)”. But in Ji Chang Wook’s interview with Tengxun, he frankly reveals that he is not as “childish” as what everyone thinks, but is mature and thorough when it comes to dealing with daily matters in life, and will even ponder over problems like a philosopher sometimes.

Guess who turns 30 years old today? Our very own Ji Chang Wook celebrates his birthday on 5 July, and Ji Chang Wook’s Kitchen sends along its wishes for a very happy day, with many more to follow! This day also marks our site’s second anniversary! Woo hoo!!
We both were racking our brains trying to figure out something special to commemorate this momentous event. For his drama debut 7th anniversary last year (here and here), we posted each of our personal favorite Ji Chang Wook drama characters, so this year we decided to flip that around and suggest what roles we would see Ji Chang Wook take on for any of his future dramas.
