Well this was unexpected! The nominees for the 2015 APAN (Asia Pacific Actors Network) Star Awards have been announced, and Ji Chang Wook has been nominated for an Excellence Actor (Mini-Series) award for his role in “Healer.” Others in his nominating group include Im Siwan (“Misaeng”), Jo Jung Seok (“Oh My Ghost”), Park Seo Joon (“Kill Me, Heal Me” and “She Was Pretty”), and Lee Sang Yoon (“Liar Game 2” and “Twenty Again”).
2014 was a fruitful year for Ji Chang Wook, who saw his popularity surge as he wowed audiences with his impressive performance in the highly successful drama “Empress Ki”, and he continues to heat up the screen this winter with heart-throbbing action and romance in his ongoing drama “Healer”. As 2014 drew to a close, Ji Chang Wook wrapped up the year with 2 more awards to add to his resume. What a great way to end off the year!
On the night of 31 December, Ji Chang Wook took home the Popularity Award and the Best Couple Award at the 2014 KBS Drama Awards for his performance in “Healer”.
On 30 December, Ji Chang Wook made an appearance at the 2014 MBC Drama Awards as a prize presenter for the Excellence category, having won an Excellence award the previous year for his performance in “Empress Ki”.
