HE HAS RETURNED! We have been waiting for ages to see any inkling of the 2014 Fall/Winter catalogue for the Ji Chang Wook-endorsed NorthCape outerwear brand. Finally, we have some pre-release shots and narrative, courtesy of NorthCape’s official blog!
Here are some of the first shots of Ji Chang Wook’s feature for the August issue of men’s fashion magazine, Arena Homme+, courtesy of @aozora8779 and TopStarNews.net. It could be due to the black-and-white effect of the photos, but his somewhat scruffy appearance in the photo is reminiscent of the bad-boy rocker look he sported in this year’s Elle magazine. Or at least, that’s the first thought that came to our mind. If you liked what you saw in Elle, then this might just float your boat.
NHK’s BS-TV cable channel will air the interview of the three “Empress Ki” leads (Ha Ji Won; Ji Chang Wook; Joo Jin Mo), on 27 July 2014 at 9:00 PM KST, to be repeated on 2 August 2014 at 11:00 PM JST (the day prior to its premiere on BS-TV). Also joining in the interview is the MC, Tashiro Chikayo (BS-TV’s Korean entertainment reporter, who handled Changwook’s last interview with the program “Han Love”) and the actress Fujii Mina (most recently seen in MBC’s “We Got Married – Global Edition”). Translation: New Korean drama “Empress Ki” will finally premiere on BS Premium from 3 August! A pioneer in broadcasting, the special program will introduce special interviews with gorgeous co-stars Ha Ji Won, Joo Jin Mo, and Ji Chang Wook, with videos of behind-the-scenes and special attractions of the drama! (Then the list goes on to introduce the cast, MC Chiyako, and Mina-chan).
In addition, on 13 July 2014 at 10:57 PM KST, a short 3-minute “preview” of “Empress Ki” will be shown on BS-TV, which will introduce the characters and “preview the charm of a history drama that recorded a nearly 30 percent audience rating in South Korea.” Can’t wait!!!
On 4 March 2011, Ji Chang Wook was invited by the management of the Ambassador Hotel in Seoul to put on a cooking demonstration for guests attending through a ticket lottery. You may recognize the venue as the “Camellia Hotel” used during filming of “Smile Donghae,” and that was the main reason their management decided to engage “Donghae” to help them with the Grand Opening of their King’s Buffet Restaurant. The event was covered by the usual news reporters, and here’s some photos of the fun!
