Whispers of this event have been floating around the internet for awhile now, but we guess it’s finally safe to report: Ji Chang Wook has been named as the latest celebrity endorser for Lotte Duty Free! You may have seen their stores in various East Asian airport terminals (along with several other brick-and-mortar outposts), but is most famously known for their huge flagship department stores located in Myeongdong-gu, Busan and Tokyo Ginza.
Actor Ji Chang Wook returned to Korea after finishing his Asia Fan Meeting Tour by preparing a special event for his local fans, entitled “Ji Chang Wook 3D (Delight, Dynamic, Delicious) Fan Meeting in Seoul.” We’ve provided a small summary below collated from several different fan reports of the night’s activities.
It’s been a while since Ji Chang Wook made his appearance at a fashion event. Now back in Seoul, Ji Chang Wook met the press this afternoon at “The Butcher” Gentle Monster 2016 Presentation Show.

7 March Update:
Glorious Entertainment has expressed their sincere apology for the sudden cancellation of the Konus event on 5 March and for not taking proper care of Ji Chang Wook’s condition. According to Glorious, Ji Chang Wook’s health condition had worsened on that day due to his busy schedules in Korea and overseas. Ji Chang Wook would like to apologise to fans who had waited for him in the bad weather and hopes to recover quickly so that he can meet everyone soon.
5 March Update:
This event has been officially cancelled due to Ji Chang Wook being in ill health. Konus has apologised for the last minute cancellation and will update again if the event is rescheduled. Glorious Entertainment has also apologised for not giving earlier notice about him not being able to attend the event.
Ji Chang Wook will be having a fan sign session in Seoul to mark the store opening of fashion brand Konus in Myeongdong.
Ji Chang Wook attended the “Love Your W” 10th Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign charity event held at the Four Seasons Hotel at Saemunan-ro in Seoul on the afternoon of 27 October.
Organised by W Korea Magazine, this campaign has been held every October since its launch in 2006. The campaign seeks to raise awareness about the danger of breast cancer, the importance of early detection, and check-ups. The campaign offers free breast cancer screening to more than 5,000 women and a total of 68 women have received surgery and treatment.
